Jargon PR goes to the Thames Valley Tech Awards

Last Thursday, the Jargon PR team attended the Thames Valley Tech Awards as proud media partners of the event.
In its second year, the TVTAs recognises the very best technology businesses across the local area. The awards ceremony saw over 370 guests flock to the Royal Berkshire Centre at the Madejski Stadium, for an evening of networking, great company and celebration.
The evening kicked off with a drinks reception, followed by the main ceremony, which was hosted by TV Presenter, Kate Bellingham. David McLelland was the guest speaker of the awards, and gave an insightful talk about his career, becoming ‘The Bad News Tech Guy’ and the latest advancements in the technology industry.
Our activity as media sponsors of the Thames Valley Tech Awards included raising awareness of the awards through drafting and distributing content, social media, and press outreach. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with the team and ensuring the event gets the recognition it deserves.
The ceremony also raised an incredible £2,200 for local charity Launchpad, which prevents homelessness and provides support for those without a stable place to live or are at risk of losing their home.
Thank you to the organisers for a great evening and congratulations to all the finalists and winners of this year’s awards! The full list of winners can be found here.
