Jargon PR goes to Windsor
Last week, Jargon PR hosted its annual Summer Party! And despite the sun only making a brief appearance, the rain didn’t stop us having a great time.
After working from home in the morning, the team met at The Boatman in Windsor for a few drinks, before heading over to the Windsor Royal boat, where we enjoyed a boat ride down the Thames. The short boat trip saw us travel upstream to Boveney Lock, where we had great views of Windsor Castle, and also passed Eton College, Mill House, Windsor Racecourse and the Brocas Meadows.
This is when the sun wished us goodbye and in true British Summer fashion, the downpour started just as our cruise came to an end, luckily it was a quick run over to Browns, where we enjoyed a delicious meal.
After the rain had settled down slightly, next stop was The King & Castle pub where we enjoyed a few more drinks, before heading to All Bar One, of course, for more drinks!
We found our way back to Reading, stopping off to watch some of the football (not everyone’s first choice) and eventually finished the celebrations off in Walkabout.
Overall we had a great day, and it was the perfect chance for the team to spend some time together away from the office. Having had the weekend to recover, we’re back today full steam ahead, excited for what the next few months have in store!
