Jargon PR is an award winning boutique public relations agency. We manage global campaigns for B2B technology and corporate brands. With offices in Hampshire and London we’re growing fast and are looking for three first class placement students to join our team for a year.
As a small agency, you will be involved in a lot more than you may expect from day one. We want to develop you and give you a taste of what a career in Marketing/PR can offer. So we’re looking for three strong team players who are extremely dynamic individuals with a creative spark, and great written and verbal communication skills. Feedback from previous placement students say this is an exciting role that gives you more experience and exposure to the marketing and PR industry, clients and the media than other placements.
Our marketing assistant will be working as part of our own marketing team, helping to manage and promote the Jargon PR brand to a broad range of stakeholders. This will include everything from planning and managing our presence on social media through to brand development, new business research, managing our own PR, event planning and maintaining our presence at key international shows and events.
Our two JAE’s will be involved in meeting clients, pitching stories to journalists, writing copy and securing coverage for clients. Each student will have a portfolio of 5-6 clients and will be working as part of a team on everything from new business pitches, client meetings and content planning.
These three roles are exciting, hard work but very rewarding. We’ve taken 12 placement students over the past five years, all have been fantastic and have gone onto secure excellent graduate roles based on their degree and years placement experience with us.
