Jargon PR Supports SML London Pop Up Store

Last week the Jargon team supported our global client SML RFID at their pop-up store on Old Brompton Road, London. Designed to support the continued expansion of SML RFID in Europe, the two day event provided an opportunity for SML to demonstrate to large apparel brands how investment in RFID can benefit them.

Set up to look like an authentic fashion retail outlet, the store highlighted how RFID can benefit retailers from the moment an item is labelled to the point where it leaves the shop with a customer. The pop-up was a huge success, and will help to pave the way for SML RFID’s continued exposure and success in Europe.

Along with helping to organise the smooth running of the event, Jargon PR took charge of inviting journalists and creating quality post-event content to maintain momentum and interest in the SML RFID brand.

Having a real hands on demo of the tech was not only great for the journalists but also for the team at Jargon to develop a greater understanding of our clients’ business and the benefits to their customers. The event demonstrated how useful physical PR can be to engage with customers, prospects and press.

The pop-up provided a great opportunity for SML to not only generate interest from potential customers, but also to give further exposure to the brand by creating informative content around RFID that will be shared with the retailing community.

It is an incredibly exciting time to be working within RFID, particularly with SML as they continue to innovate and grow within the European market.
