The BETT Show 2015

From 21st – 24th January, experts from the education and technology industries made their way to the Excel London for the world’s leading learning technology event, the Bett Show 2015, and Jargon PR was sure not to miss it.

Now in its ninth consecutive year of exhibiting, client Redstor, a leading UK provider of data protection and cloud services, had one of the largest stands at the show and was there to meet with existing and prospective customers and network with some of the leading influences within the industry.

This year the Bett Show was bigger than ever; with Microsoft in particular keen to make a big splash by showcasing the educational benefits of popular building game Minecraft.

Gamification has long been a buzzword within education and by using individual problem solving skills and team challenges, the Microsoft was able to demonstrate Minecraft’s full learning capabilities – whilst also getting to play a video game!

Other event highlights were Google’s Tablet for Education, MakerBot’s desktop 3D printer and the Samsung Galaxy Gear VR; all proving that the technology within education is more innovative and forward-thinking than ever.
