CEBIT 2014

Hannover’s annual gathering of tech companies did not disappoint. Big Data and datability, social, cloud and security were among the main technologies showcased.

However the development of Artificial Intelligence really grabbed the headlines. The German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence unveiled a robot with a flexible spine and equipped with multiple sensors.

The robots communicate with “Blue Light”, electric potential fields, sound and radio. They certainly grabbed the attention of the crowd, including Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak who was quoted as saying, “The progress in robotics is one of the most exciting technological advancements today.”

The Jargon PR team attended to support clients and fly our own flag as a leading tech PR agency. Our UK, European and US campaigns have attracted a significant amount of attention recently, leading to the CIPR naming us ‘Small Agency of the Year 2013.’

We were privileged to be invited to join the UKTI stand throughout the event and had the pleasure of listening to Prime Minister David Cameron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the opening day.

The development of innovative new technologies is truly amazing. The European and international technology market is brimming with exciting new technologies that are changing the way industries operate. It’s an electrifying market to be involved in!
